The Buddha Says : The past should not be sought after,The future not desired. The past is gone,And the future has not come,Only the present is here. This is the essence of wisdom,Immovable, unshakable,Realizing this, one should diligently cultivate.

It was the Full Moon of August 2002(Lunar Calendar). Huyen Quang Buddhist Youth had celebrated an Autumm Festival Night under the sponsorship of Vietnam Buddhist Center, The program started at 5:00PM as announced; There were games that have Vietnamese culture characteristics like Throwing Balls, Throwing Circles etc.. and booths selling Vietnamese vegetarian food prepared by Buddhist laymen who provided good service to the Vietnamese community and youth with reciepes from all the 3 regions of Vietnam. Everybody was happy because this was an opportunity for Vietnamese people abroad to meet each other. Vietnamese children had room to play since Vietnam Buddhist Center is very large; Parents were excited and conversed with each other happily.
Huyen Quang Buddhist Youth were responsible for the Vietnamese Cultural Show which turned to be a very excellent program, of which the duo MC Minh Nhut and Minh Duy were outstanding, members of Huyen Quang Buddhist Youth who have grown up from the Vietnamese Buddhist Youth nest; together they have shared the highs and lows of modern life, therefore their feelings about Mother Country and the Full Moon have contributed to the spontaneous language they used to express; some other young members although not professional singers, express songs with wonderful and naive vocals. Then there were lively dances and a short play to express feelings about Autumm festival and to remind Vietnamese people abroad of their Full Moon in their Mother country; Meantimes the Vietnamse Youth has expressed their filial pietity with their whole heart. The Cultural Show concluded with a distribution of Autumn Festival lanterns to the kids so they could gather for a lantern parade under the soft moonrays, with a dragon dance performed by little members of Huyen Quang Buddhist Youth; spectators were proud of those baby dragons which proves that Vietnamese Youth has started to grow to among this generation.
