Namo Buddhaya!
We would like to invite you to our special English Dharma Service this Sunday, September 3, from 3 - 4:15pm. This week, we will continue the Ullambana celebration in honor of our parents and our ancestors. We will especially host a Rose Ceremony, which is one of the most beautiful and meaningful ceremonies in Vietnamese Buddhist tradition, first proposed by our world famous Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. For the Rose Ceremony, each of us will receive either a red or a white rose to remember the kindness and love of our parents. Come to find out what each of the colors represents.
If you have never brought your children or your parents, this will be a very meaningful service for the entire family. Please plan to arrive between 2:50 to 2:55pm as we will start the service promptly at 3pm. We look forward to seeing you at Meditation Hall on Sunday to celebrate the filial piety season.
